On Friday stocks closed higher, the Dow Jones Industrial Average Index rose 267 point gain to close at 11,809. The S&P 500 index rose 22.86 points to close at 1,238.25. The Nasdaq Composite Index closed up 38.84 points to close at 2,637.46. The Nasdaq 100 index closed up 29.64 points to close at 2,335.93.
