Option Expiration Special Trading Analysis on Google Options January 2011. Live "options education" for "options expiration" week. We saw major moves down in FFIV and GOOG well off the highs. It was a great day to the short side and we saw the "options market maker" steal premiums on the March contracts as the "implied volatility" dropped as Google's stock didn't get the pop the call buyers were looking for.
They shake these things down to buy them and we'll be watching for Monday's trading action and see if there is some price action reversals to the long side.
